The Gîte Apartments

Each Apartment has:
- A wood burning fireplace or stove. An initial supply of logs or wood pellets (depending on the apartment) is provided.
- Comfortable quality beds
- WiFi access points on site
- Washing machine and dishwasher
- Fridge freezer, microwave and coffeemaker
- Television with non subscription satellite channels and DVD player
- Ipod/Iphone player and charger
- Some games, books, local tourist information.
- Heating to all rooms
- Completely renovated interiors while retaining the original ceiling beams, fireplaces and other features.

Apartment A

A spacious, comfortable and nicely renovated apartment which retains some traditional aspects of the old ‘Auberge’ including the original 19th century staircase.
Apartment A sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms). All bedrooms have long south or west facing views onto the river Marne and the valley and vineyards beyond. Excellent kitchen. Shady riverside terrace with table and chairs to the front.

Apartment A is arranged over three floors. The ground floor includes a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a small breakfast area, and a good-sized double aspect salon or reception room. The salon has a beamed ceiling and the original fireplace, incorporating a wood-burning stove. This is a light and airy room on a bright day capturing plenty of sun. For chillier evenings, the wood burning stove keeps everyone cosy. This room has seating and dining areas. The dining table seats up to 6.
The original staircase leads to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, one with a king size double bed and one with a single. This floor has a large bathroom including a bathtub with overhead shower. On the second floor there is a bedroom with twin beds and a small washroom with toilet.
Your outside terrace (with table and chairs) is nicely shaded under the vine-covered pergola and is a perfect place from which to socialize and enjoy watching life on the river and the occasional passing pleasure boat.
Your beds will be made up, and towels provided, based on the number in your party. The weekly arrival day is Saturday and when you arrive in the afternoon you will be met and shown your apartment. Arrangements are possible for out-of-hours arrivals. A Concierge is generally on-site to offer help if needed and can help you plan a trip such as a visit to the superb champagne houses and brasseries of Reims.
Apartment B

Set centrally within the original 19th ‘Auberge’, Apartment B sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms each with bath/shower room). Downstairs the living room has a kitchen and dining area to one end.
Bedrooms are south facing with open river and valley views.

Apartment B is arranged over three floors. The ground floor has a salon or reception room with a separate kitchen area that is well equipped including (as for all apartments) a dishwasher and induction hob. The room is nicely and comfortably furnished. For chillier evenings, the wood (pellet) burning stove is economic to run and very effective.
The first floor and second floor each have a bedroom with a king size double bed and a bathroom. You have a large bathroom including a cubicle shower on the first floor and an ensuite bathroom with bathtub on the second floor.
In front of your apartment you have your own furnished terrace, this is nicely shaded under the vine-covered pergola and is just a few steps from the riverbank. You can also use the shared gardens.
Your beds will be made up, and towels provided, based on the number in your party. The weekly arrival day is Saturday and when you arrive in the afternoon you will be met and shown your apartment. Arrangements are possible for out-of-hours arrivals. A Concierge is generally on-site to offer help if needed and can help you plan a day out. Perhaps a Chateau visit or a trip to DisneyLand Paris for the kids?
Apartment C

Set within the original 19th Century building, Apartment C is river-facing, spacious, comfortable and fully renovated. Accommodates up to 6 (4 bedrooms). Rooms faces south. Large living/dining room. Excellent kitchen. Bedrooms each have long views onto the river Marne and its valley and vineyards beyond.
In front of your apartment your terrace is nicely shaded under the vine-covered pergola and has unobstructed views of the river.

Apartment C is arranged over three floors. The ground floor includes a modern and well-equipped kitchen including a breakfast table. There is separate and good-sized salon or reception room with a beamed ceiling and original fireplace. The salon is a lovely spacious family room. For cool evenings, the wood burning stove helps keep the apartment warm and cosy. This room has seating and dining areas, the dining table seats up to 6.
On the first floor you have two bedrooms – one room has a double bed and includes a walk-in wardrobe. One bedroom has twin beds. The separate bathroom includes a shower cubicle. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms – one with a single bed and one with a king size double bed, this room has a similar walk-in wardrobe. The separate bathroom includes a bathtub with hand-shower.
This apartment has sleeping capacity for seven to allow some flexibility in room allocation. It is however offered for a maximum of six guests consistent with dining and seating capacity.
Your beds will be made up, and towels provided, based on the number in your party. The weekly arrival day is Saturday and when you arrive in the afternoon you will be met and shown your apartment. Arrangements are possible for out-of-hours arrivals. A Concierge is generally on-site to offer help if needed and can help you plan a trip such as a visit to Paris
Apartment E

The apartment faces onto the shared garden area – an area which extends towards the riverbank, providing plenty of tranquil spots for relaxing with a drink or picnic lunch. Excellent kitchen. Paved and furnished patio outside.

Apartment E is arranged over two floors. The ground floor includes a modern and well-equipped kitchen, bathroom (with bath and overhead shower), a separate washroom/toilet and a grand ‘salon’ or reception room with a traditional beamed ceiling and the original fireplace incorporating a wood-burning stove. This is a spacious room with comfortable chairs and sofas and a generous dining area – a lovely room for a family to gather and relax. Large French windows lead from the reception room to the patio and gardens. The patio faces south west capturing the best of the sun. Your patio comes with table, chairs and sun shade. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, one with a king size double bed, one with a twin bed and one with a single.

Arrangements are possible for out-of-hours arrivals. A Concierge is generally on-site and can help you plan your days out. The local village and ‘Champagne Route’ are nearby.
